Important role of parents, relatives and friends

• Be a fan of everyone on the team
• Respect the decisions of officials
• Respect other fans, coaches, and officials
• Talk to your child
• Keep negative thoughts to yourself
• Leave the coaching to the coach… do not comment on other players mistakes
• Understand that the coaches’ responsibility is to make certain that the players have
consistent training and grow both as athletes and members of our society
• Coaches ALONE decide on playing time and strategy
• Be SUPPORTIVE of your child, the team, the coach and the program
• Get involved in areas that can help the team become a stronger, more unified team
