Philosophy:
We are dedicated to developing junior volleyball players to their greatest in a friendly, competitive environment....

1st Alliance was created as a combined effort of 2nd City VBC, Club Elite VBC & Lions Jrs. VBC to bring together elite level athletes and teams to represent the Great Lakes Region at the National level. These clubs committed their resources, talent, and facilities to allow Chicago area athletes a chance for competitive success.

Along with Lions and Fearless VBC, our sister club, Club Elite continues to train and develop young volleyball players. Club Elite will be hosting teams in the 11-18 age group divisions this season. More info on Club Elite can be found by visiting their website www.clubelite.org.

In our inaugural season, 2004, we qualified ALL three Alliance teams in the Open Division in Houston. Since then we have continued to qualify our teams in the open divisions at Junior Olympics with finishes in the top 5 every year. We have chosen a combination of the strongest JVA events along with several strong USAV events to make our competition schedule one of the toughest in the country. Last season we qualified our 16's and 17's in the open division and finished with our 1st Alliance 16, 17, 18 Black teams winning the AAU championships in Orlando to end their seasons.

Our tryout/evaluations are OPEN to ALL players and will be held to identify the elite players needed to create teams capable of competing physically, technically and psychologically against other Open level clubs.
