Lions Jrs and 1st Alliance want to welcome all new and old players back into the gym for a NEW YEAR! Our 3rd Coast Elite Boys are more than halfway through their
season and our 10’s and 11’s are all starting up this week. We look forward to a great 2012!

Player of the Month
We want to congratulate 3rd Coast Elite Boys 18s Player Mark Carioscio as this month’s Player of the Month. Mark is the loudest voice on the court and always gives it his all on every
play of every drill. He leads by example with his intensity and passion for the game. Mark is a versatile player and has contributed on the rightside and outside and does whatever asked of him to the best of his ability. To add to Mark’s contributions to the
club, he will also coach the Lions Jrs 10 Jade team this winter. Congratulations Mark!

Coach of the Month
Mike Konrad is our Coach of the month for December. He is a new coach to the 3rd Coast Elite Boys Program, but a returning alum who played for Lions Juniors during his High School
years. Mike is eager to take his team to the top level, pushing them each practice and having the goal to be the 1st team to qualify since his team was the last to qualify when he played! He steps into drills to demo to the players and shows them exactly what
he wants to see from them. He expects 100% from his team at all times!! The team enjoys Mike and we are really excited to have him back coaching our boys. In addition to the Boys program, Mike has stepped in as head coach for our Girls Lions 16Blue team, where
I’m sure he’ll have as much success. Congratulations to Mike!

- Lions Jrs/1st Alliance Day of Service with Feed My Starving Children was held on
Saturday, December 17, 2011. Thanks to ALL that spent time volunteering during the busy holiday season and thanks to Maureen Zeeb for a great job organizing the event. - There are a few spots still open in the 3rd-4th grade winter league. To sign up please click the link below:

- Thank you to all of you that ordered Stadium Chairs for our first club fundraiser. Our next Fundraiser will begin at our Social Night
on the 20th. This fundraiser will go directly back to the player.
