We are proud of your accomplishments both in the classroom and on the court! Congratulations to our 10's, 11's and 12's players as most teams finished their seasons in April. The 10's & 11's season was capped off with a two day tournament at the Chalet. Congrats to Lions 11 Navy for taking the crown in the 11's Gold division and to Lions 10 Navy for their championship in the 10's Gold division. Congratulations go out to our 1st Alliance 17 Silver team and 1st Alliance 16 Silver team for earning an open bid to the USA Girls National Championships to be held in Reno, NV in late June. Player of the Month Marina Gonzales is the April player of the month. Marina is a defensive specialist on the Lions 12 Red team. She exemplifies what a team player should be. She accepts any role she has been asked to take on, and leads the team by example. She always does the "extras" to help improve her game including weekly lessons and clinics. Marina always has a smile on her face and is cheering the team on whether she is on the court or on the bench. Congrats to Marina. Coach of the Month Kristy Krywanio is our April coach of the month. Kristy is a first year coach with Lions and is always willing to help out. She has subbed for several coaches for both practices and tournaments when they needed her help. She is always available to lend a hand. Kristy is also a student of the game and is always looking for opportunities to improve herself as a coach. Kristy coaches the Lions 14 Gold team and her team has an excellent winning percentage this year thanks in part to Kristy's enthusiasm for the game!
